“It’s Beyond Dumping!”

Bring your snorkels if you’re planning on heading up to Mt.Hood for a weekend of powder skiing! We’re expected to receive several feet within the next few days, and there is plenty of snow coming in the 10 day forecast.

Stop into Meadowlark for a $10 quick wax. Days where the temps are cold are the best days to have wax so you can shred that PNW powder! Today we’ll be applying cold Wintersteiger wax to the belt to match the temperatures up there.

Do you have a Sno-Park permit? You must have a valid Sno-Park permit displayed near the lower left corner of the windshield of your vehicle if you park in a designated winter recreation parking area. There are three types of permits: an annual permit, a 3-day permit, and a 1-day permit. Oregon’s Sno-Park program is funded entirely by the sale of Sno-Parks so be sure to do your part and pick one up on your way up to the mountain!

We are now sending out cross country skis and snow shoes for rent! Check out cross country skiing at Teacup Lake Nordic Center or Meadows Nordic Center. Check out any of the Sno-Parks for any snow shoeing as well, or stop on by for our personal recommendations
