Weather update

Winter conditions are delivering at Mt. Hood Meadows this morning with steady snowfall, light southwest winds, and about 5 inches of fresh snow since yesterday. Temperatures are hovering in the upper 20s up high and low 30s mid-mountain, keeping the new snow riding nicely. Groomed terrain is shaping up with dense packed snow on the lower mountain and packed powder conditions higher up, offering smooth, fast laps for skiers and snowboarders. Off the groom, expect dense new snow down low and medium-density powder above Daisy sitting over a mixed granular and packed powder base.

Coverage remains shallow in places, so riders should stay alert for hidden obstacles and unmarked hazards, especially when exploring off-piste terrain. Continued low snow depths mean rocks and uneven features may be lurking just beneath the surface. The HRE lift will run upload-only starting at 9am. Value Passes become valid after 1pm, and Night Passes kick in at 4pm for evening laps. Note that Park & Ride is cancelled today, so plan transportation accordingly.
