The weather forecast predicted that the clouds would clear and the wind would be gentle. However Mother Nature had different plans for us. Overnight a strong breeze swept through bringing unexpected gusts that shook the trees. This morning we also experienced a light rain that was not part of the forecast. Such surprises remind us that weather can be unpredictable even when the predictions seem clear. Today we anticipate pleasant weather that will make for an enjoyable day and night of skiing at Your Mountain Home. However due to strong winds overnight some of the snow conditions on the upper mountain may not be as smooth as we would like. These gusty winds can create uneven surfaces off piste which may affect your skiing experience. Despite this we remain hopeful for a great time on the slopes. Overall we encourage everyone to embrace the day and enjoy the beauty of the mountain. Thankfully the lower mountain has handled the breeze well creating a pleasant environment for skiing. The conditions are firm and fast which is ideal for beginners and more experienced skiers alike. This means that everyone can enjoy a smooth ride as they take to the slopes.
