Today’s weather is going to be bright and sunny with temperatures reaching about 29 degrees. The wind will start from the north at 5 to 8 miles per hour but will eventually calm down.
When you hit the slopes the groomed snow will feel mostly like frozen granules which means it’s a bit crunchy underfoot. You’ll notice some spots that are hardpacked but there will also be areas with softer loose snow on top. This combo creates a firm surface that can be fun to ride on. If you’re thinking about going offpiste be ready for a tougher ride because it’s mostly a hard frozen base with bumps called moguls which can change depending on where you are on the mountain. So whether you stick to the groomed trails or venture off the beaten path just keep an eye on the conditions!
Meadowlark Ski & Sports will be open 7:30AM to 7:00PM for ski rentals and snowboard rentals.
