Hood Meadows’s surface conditions post said, ” Groom is a mix of wet pack and frozen granular. Off-piste you will find variable conditions with skier packed powder over hard pack and moguls found throughout the resort. Please ski and ride with a partner and be extra cautious of tree wells and deep snow immersion risks if you venture off piste.”

Today’s weather is sunny but chilly with a high temperature close to 19 degrees. The weather forecast indicates a 40 percent chance of snow showers starting mainly after noon. The sky will be partly sunny and temperatures are expected to reach around 32 degrees Fahrenheit. A west-southwest wind will blow at speeds of 7 to 9 miles per hour with gusts possibly reaching 21 miles per hour. Throughout the day we could see a total snow accumulation ranging from 1 to 3 inches.

Today the weather is set to bring a good amount of snow especially before 10 a. m. As the morning progresses snow showers will continue making the ground white and fluffy.
