Hey skiers and snowboarders! Meadowlark Ski & Sports is excited to kick off another amazing season of skiing and snowboarding. Our shop will officially open weekends starting October 11th—just in time to get you ready for the slopes.

Stop by early for season ski rentals and snowboard rentals before they sell out, or bring in your gear for a professional ski tune-up or snowboard service so you’re set for opening day.

    In the last 24 hours we have received about six inches of new snow. The wind has been strong which affects where the snow settles. As a result the deepest snow can be found in areas that are sheltered from the wind. These leeward spots are ideal for those looking to enjoy fresh powder. It is important to take advantage of these conditions while they last!     Today’s weather is sunny but chilly with a high temperature close to 19 degrees. Although the sun is shining the wind makes it feel much colder with wind chill values dropping to as low as -10 degrees. The strong northeast wind blows at 15 to 23 miles per hour adding to the cold. In the afternoon the wind will shift to blow from the south-southeast but it will still be quite breezy. Gusts could reach up to 37 miles per hour making it a blustery day outside.
