As the day goes on the snow will become softer and more fun to carve and ride on. “It’s a bit cold up here at the start of the day so make sure to dress warmly!” There’s an inversion happening which means the temperatures will change based on where you are. By this afternoon temperatures are expected to climb significantly and reach the mid to upper 30s which will help melt the snow. Mt. Hood Meadows said, “We might spot some corn snow on the slopes that get plenty of sunlight in the afternoon especially in areas away from the main trails.”
