Snow showers are expected today bringing a magical winter wonderland to our surroundings. The snow could fall heavily at times creating a soft white blanket over everything. With temperatures staying steady around 22 degrees it will feel quite chilly outside. A west-southwest wind will blow gently but it might gust strongly at times reaching up to 29 mph. There is a 90% chance of snow and we could see between 4 to 8 inches accumulating during the day making it a perfect day to ski, snowboard, nordic ski, or snowshoe!

In off-piste areas the snow is different; it includes skier-packed powder mixed with frozen granular snow. When entering these off-piste areas it is important to be careful and watch for scoured spots. These areas can be tricky and may require extra attention to navigate safely.
