Today there is a 50 percent chance of snow showers which means we might see some light snow during the day. The sky will be partly sunny and temperatures will reach a high of around 29 degrees Fahrenheit. It will be breezy with west winds blowing at 18 to 21 miles per hour and gusts could reach as high as 37 miles per hour. We are open 7:30a.m. to 6:00p.m. for ski rentals, snowboard rentals, snowshoe rentals, and nordic ski rentals!
Mt Hood Meadows- ” 5:20 AM: Snow flurries are adding some finishing touches to the slopes this morning, depositing a fine layer of fresh flakes on top of this morning’s very nice hardpack corduroy. That extra touch of fresh snow will ensure excellent schussing for your first Wednesday of April. We’ve also got a full groom and track set down at Nordic for your Spring Break pleasure, so whether you’re looking for lift served cruising or breaking out the extra skinny skis, we’ve got you covered. Yes, that includes park riders too – we have four different terrain parks dialed in for today, plus our in-ground Superpipe and some fun zones to boot. There is a bit of gusty wind in the forecast, but hopefully not enough to keep the lifts under wraps. So far, we’re looking at an all mountain opening today with a very good chance of gated terrain as well, thanks to cool and stable temperatures. Things will warm up a bit tomorrow and through the weekend, so if you want to enjoy some fresh snow and cool conditions, come on up today! ”
