Winter is settling in nicely at Mt. Hood Meadows, and conditions are shaping up for a solid start to the season. Cold temperatures overnight have helped preserve the snowpack, and ongoing snowfall has improved coverage on open terrain. Winds have been present at times, but visibility and surface conditions remain manageable, especially on groomed runs. Terrain is still limited as the mountain builds its base, but the snow quality is trending in the right direction with more winter weather in the forecast.
If you’re planning a trip up the mountain, now’s a great time to get your gear dialed. Meadowlark Ski & Sports has you covered with ski rentals, snowboard rentals, snowshoe rentals, and Nordic ski rentals—perfect for early-season conditions. Stop by Meadowlark before heading to Mt. Hood Meadows to make sure you’re set up with properly tuned equipment for the day.
We’ll keep an eye on the weather and snowpack as conditions continue to improve. Winter is here, and the stoke is building.
