Fresh snow is stacking up at Mt. Hood Meadows with steady snowfall, light winds, and another 5” of new snow since yesterday—great news for skiers and snowboarders heading up from Sandy and the Portland area. Groomed runs are riding dense packed snow down low and packed powder up high, while off-groom terrain features dense new snow below and medium-density powder above Daisy over a mixed granular/packed base. Use caution venturing off trail as shallow coverage may hide rocks and obstacles due to continued low snow depths. Temps are holding in the upper 20s at upper elevations with moderate southwest winds. The HRE lift is upload-only and opens at 9am. Value Passes are valid after 1pm and Night Passes start at 4pm. Park & Ride is cancelled today. Stop by Meadowlark Ski & Sports in Sandy for ski, snowboard, nordic, and snowshoe rentals before heading to Mt. Hood Meadows for fresh powder turns and winter adventure.
