Winter has officially arrived on Mt. Hood, and conditions are deep, snowy, and absolutely all-time at both Timberline Lodge and Mt. Hood Meadows. Timberline is firing with seriously deep storm snow, stacked lap after lap from multiple days of snowfall, delivering classic storm skiing with soft turns, filled-in terrain, and that raw Mt. Hood energy where the snow just keeps coming. Meadows is seeing the best conditions of the season, with over half a foot overnight and feet of snow this week locking in coverage, smoothing out the mountain, and putting groomers and off-piste terrain in prime mid-winter form. Winds have been moving snow around and loading features, creating fresh pockets and playful terrain across both resorts.
If you’ve been waiting for the real season to start, this is the moment. Before you head up, stop at Meadowlark Ski & Sports for Mt. Hood ski and snowboard rentals, boots, helmets, demos, and local conditions advice. We’ll get you dialed for deep snow days at Timberline and Meadows so you can spend less time stressing and more time scoring the best turns of the season.
