🌙🎿 Mt. Hood Meadows Night Skiing & Conditions Update – Saturday, Dec. 27 ❄️

👇

We’re officially open today and winter is doing its thing on the mountain! Expect fresh powder over frozen granular and firm hardpack on the groomed runs, with soft new snow and wind-affected powder off-piste sitting on a harder base. Coverage remains limited, so early-season conditions are in effect. Unmarked obstacles and hazards exist—sticking to the groomed terrain is highly recommended for the best riding.

🌙 Night Skiing at Mt. Hood Meadows (4:00–9:00 PM):
Night skiing is on for tonight with Pucci Lift providing primary access to open night terrain. Molly’s Lift will also be spinning for lift access only, helping redistribute uphill traffic via the Back Way trail. At this time, skiing terrain off Molly’s is not expected to be open, but continued snowfall could change conditions quickly. As always with early-season operations, lift access and terrain offerings may shift throughout the evening.

🎿 Nordic & Lessons Update:
We’re opening with limited groomed Nordic terrain, and grooming updates will be posted as soon as they’re confirmed. Classic and Skate lessons and rentals are available, and there’s still availability in Adult and Youth 3-Day Camps starting Sunday. Please stay off the trails until opening so grooming can be completed safely and effectively.

🥾 Snowshoe Update:
The Sahalie Trails snowshoe route is not open yet, but guided snowshoe tours to Umbrella Falls are running this weekend and are a great way to explore winter conditions on Mt. Hood.

Before you head up, stop by Meadowlark Ski & Sports for everything you need—ski rentals, snowboard rentals, night skiing rentals, Nordic ski rentals, snowshoe rentals, helmets, and winter accessories. We’re your local stop for fast, easy gear rentals before heading to Mt. Hood Meadows.

❄️ Get geared up, stay safe, and enjoy an awesome night under the lights! 🎿🏂
